Courses are run all year round.

We offer a wide range of Power boating tuition from complete beginner to advanced driver. Your training will be conducted on our 6mtr rib, powered by two 70hp four stroke engines. Your tuition will be conducted by a fully trained and qualified RYA instructor enabling you to gain the most out of your course. All our courses are run over two days.

Level:National Powerboat Certificate (Level 2)
No previous experience necessary. The instructor will guide you through all the skills necessary so that you will be confident and competent to handle a powerboat in daylight hours in waters familiar to yourself. You will learn how to safely and effectively handle a powerboat in close water manoeuvres as well as skills like anchoring and picking up a man over board.

Level:National Intermediate Course
Suggested previous experience National Powerboat Certificate. This intermediate course will introduce some more advanced techniques including techniques needed for longer passages. Your instructor will introduce the use of GPS and pilotage techniques.

Level:Safety Boat Course
Suggested previous experience National Powerboat Certificate. This course is designed for those people who are required to look after fleets of boats, dinghies or windsurfers. Your instructor will teach you the different techniques you need to use for fleet management including positioning of the safety boat and prioritising casualties. You will be taught how to set up and tow a range of different craft safely.

Level:National Advanced Powerboat Course
Previous experience Intermediate Powerboat certificate and theory knowledge up to Day Skipper standard. This intensive course is designed for real enthusiasts or commercial Powerboat drivers. The course covers rough weather handling and the different techniques used for daylight and nighttimes. Your instructor will teach different search patterns used for the recovery of persons lost over board.
